While we always have fun, our group emphasizes safety: consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on rides.
We also encourage members to attend a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) approved Riders Course, as well as Accident Scene Management classes.
We have Chapter meetings once a month in North Shore area. Be sure to check the calendar for meeting and ride information.
We are a group of women motorcycle riders and enthusiasts roughly located around the North Shore area of Massachusetts. We get together several times a month to enjoy group rides all over New England (especially to places where ice cream can be found). The rides are open to both full & support members, and potential members can join us for up to 3 rides before joining.

who are we?
No matter how long you've been riding, just out of the MSF class or riding dirt bikes since you were 7, all levels of riders are welcome to join us. Our riding experience runs from Beginners to Iron Butts, all we ask is that Riders possess a valid motorcycle license. We are also happy to mentor anyone who has very little road or group riding experience to help them become a more comfortable and confident rider.

Welcome to the Home of the Massachusetts North Shore Chapter of Women On Wheels®
At NSWOW we focus on the ride and the journey, not the type of bike you ride. We have no restrictions on make or type of ride, just that the bike is street legal and in safe working condition. We welcome "Support Members" such as spouses, significant others, partners and children. All are welcome!
During the summer we have ice cream rides held on weekday evenings. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced rides are scheduled several times a month on weekends, from "let's ride to lunch", to "Seven States in a Day". We also schedule the occasional weekend getaway, and our Fall Foliage Weekend being an annual New England Women on Wheels event.
Our goal is to have well-planned routes with reasonable rest stops leading to some sort of eatery with some spectacular scenery along the way. During the summer there are always last-minute pick-up rides offered via our group email list. And in the Winter months, we have plenty of activities you can join in on!
